Dementia care at home with Envigor
Envigor’s dementia care helps people living with dementia stay safe, supported and connected in the place they know best: home.
Living with dementia changes daily life, but it doesn’t have to take away independence or comfort. We work closely with families, GPs and specialists to create calm, consistent routines that support wellbeing and reduce stress for everyone involved.
Dementia care that adapts as needs change
We take the time to learn your routines, preferences and life story, then match you with carers who provide consistent, compassionate support. Depending on your needs, services may include:
Personal care: help with showering, dressing and meals, delivered with dignity and patience
Clinical support: nursing care, medication management and regular health reviews
Lifestyle support: gentle activities, companionship, and connection with community
Respite for family carers: flexible support so families can rest and recharge
Safety and environment checks: ensuring the home is safe, familiar and easy to navigate
Our goal is to make every day feel calmer, safer and more familiar — for both the person living with dementia and the people who love them.

Frequently asked questions
What is dementia care?
Dementia care provides personalised support for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. It focuses on safety, comfort and maintaining independence at home. A dementia diagnosis is an emotional time for families and loved ones, so we work to support them through the life changes that can take place.
Can we use Support at Home funding for dementia care?
Yes. Dementia care services can be funded through the clinical, lifestyle and everyday support categories of the Support at Home program.
Can we keep the same carers?
We do everything possible to ensure consistency. Familiar faces help reduce confusion and anxiety, so we make stable care teams a priority.
Can you help someone with advanced dementia?
Yes. Our nurses and experienced carers can support complex needs, including mobility, personal care, nutrition and clinical oversight. We communicate clearly and regularly with all parties about the client’s progress.
Do you offer respite for family carers?
Yes. We can provide short-term or regular respite care so families have time to rest, attend appointments, or simply take a break.
Do you coordinate with specialists or GPs?
Yes. We work closely with your GP, geriatrician or memory clinic to ensure care is consistent and well-coordinated.
How do you make home safer for someone with dementia?
Our experts assess the home for fall risks, wandering hazards and confusion triggers, then suggest practical changes that help make life easier and safer.
Can you support someone in the early stages of dementia?
Absolutely. Early support can make a big difference – helping people maintain confidence and independence for longer.
What if behaviour changes over time?
We adjust the care plan and provide extra training or strategies to the care team as needed. Our approach is flexible, patient and always person-centred.
